Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 3½ cups vegetable or chicken broth
  • 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 package (9 oz) refrigerated tortellini
  • 3 cups shredded kale
  • 1 tablespoon pesto

Preparation

  1. In a large saucepan or CORNINGWARE® FRENCH WHITE® CAST ALUMINUM™ 4-QT BRAISER, sauté onion in oil 2-3 minutes. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Stir in broth and tomatoes. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered 10 minutes.
